Don founded 3D Microwave LLC in May 2011,
with the ambition to provide quality RF and Microwave product design packages
and share his design expertise. For over 30 years, he has designed, developed
and tested numerous products in the RF and Microwave spectrum.
Don worked for K&L Microwave for over 16 years as an RF Engineer, where he
was responsible for designing tunable filters, tunable diplexers and multicouplers,
high Qu cavities, mobile duplexers and Base Station filters. He went to Lorch
Microwave as a product line manager in charge of developing their Wireless
Products division and creating a catalog section. He joined Salisbury Engineering
in February of 2000 as the Sr. Filter Designer where he was responsilble for
designing numerous topology filters ranging from high power pole placed lumped
element filters to waveguide filters and continued in this position after
the acquisition by Spectrum Control.
Don received his education in the US Navy's Basic Electricity and Electronics
and the Advanced Electronics schools. While at K&L Microwave he was mentored
by such individuals as the late Fred Radler and later by Dr. David Chambers.
